Adding Widgets to a dashboard

  1. To add widgets to a dashboard, Click “Add Widget” in the upper right hand corner of your new dashboard.

2. The “Add Widget” tool will pop up.

3. You can use the categories at the left and the search bar at the top to narrow down to widgets that might be useful to you. For example, selecting “Diagnostics” from the categories list and searching for “IAQ” will filter the available widgets to those that show IAQ related diagnostic findings.

4. You can choose multiple widgets at a time (by Ctrl+clicking) to add to your dashboard by clicking on the widget. You can scroll through the pages to choose widgets from other pages as well and retain your selections.

5. Once you have selected all the widgets you want, click “Add” to add those widgets to your dashboard.

6. The widgets will now appear on your dashboard. The widgets load to a default size based on the size of your screen. For typical monitors, the widget will be one third the width of the dashboard.

6a. Important Note: A user can add duplicate widgets to a dashboard. However, the user cannot add a duplicate widget in the selection screen all at once. You must first follow the workflow as outlined above for your desired widget, then click “Add Widget” again and select the duplicate widgets you would like to add.

7. Resize the widgets to the size you want by clicking the bottom right hand corner of the widget and dragging it to the appropriate size.

8. Move widgets to a desired location by selecting the top hand menu bar and dragging the widget to a place on the dashboard you like.

9. You can delete a widget from the dashboard by clicking the 3 dot icon in the upper right hand corner of a widget, then clicking the trash can “remove”.

10. Along with adding a widget, deleting a widget, or resizing a widget, a user can also change the widget title as well. For further details, please refer to: https://kgsbuildings.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ClockworksAnalyticsUM/pages/2502328329/Widget+Level+Filtering#Edit-Widget-Title
