Critical Space Monitoring

Introduction to Critical Space Monitoring

Critical Space Monitoring Dashboards enable users to isolate specific areas of their building(s) for monitoring indoor environmental conditions. The dashboard includes views of 5-minute interval data collected from the BMS along with specific diagnostics identifying areas of the building outside of compliance with desired setpoints.

Setting up the Dashboard

Selecting Critical Equipment

The Critical Space Monitoring dashboard should be filtered to the specific equipment servicing critical environments within the building. The dashboard filters should be utilized to isolate the dashboard to the desired equipment (e.g. operating rooms within a hospital).

Removing Non-Applicable Widgets

The dashboard template is setup to monitor room air temperature, pressure, humidity, and Air Changes per Hour (ACH) for the selected zone equipment. If the selected zone equipment do not contain some of the points configured within the template the widget will display a message of “No data found for the filter selections.” Non-applicable widgets can be removed from the dashboard via the upper-right drop-down menu.

Section 1: Heatmaps and Diagnostics of Room Air Conditions

The first section of the dashboard summarizes the room air temperature, humidity, pressure, and Air Changes per Hour (ACH) conditions throughout the filtered time range. The section includes a heatmap of interval data collected from the BMS as well as a summary of diagnostic findings related to deviations from control setpoints.

All heatmaps within this section are filtered to “Last 1 Day” by default within the widget filter setting. Users may adjust this to view a longer time range if preferred. The diagnostics widgets are filtered to “Last Day” by default to show yesterday’s diagnostic findings.

Section 2: Trend Data

The second section of the dashboard displays line charts of the 5-minute interval data for room air temperature, humidity, pressure, and ACH.

All line charts in this section are filtered to “Last 1 Day” by default within the widget filter setting. Users may adjust this to view a longer time range if preferred.

Section 3: Points with Statistics Table

The third section of the dashboard contains a table of all raw data points with statistics for maximum, minimum, range, average, and last value over the filtered time range.

The table in this section is filtered to “Last 1 Day” by default within the widget filter setting. Users may adjust this to view a longer time range if preferred.
